1. Overview
AIONDATA.IO ("AIONDATA," "we," "us," or "our") gives you the right to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to make that request, what happens after you submit it, and how long the process takes.
This applies to data you provided to us directly and to data we received on your behalf from connected third-party platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
2. Data We May Hold About You
- Contact information: Name, email address, company name, and phone number.
- Lead and form submissions: Information you submitted through our contact forms, newsletter signup, or a lead form on a connected platform such as Facebook or Instagram.
- Account information: Login credentials and profile details for our portal, where applicable.
- Communications: Messages, feedback, and support inquiries you sent us.
- Usage data: Anonymized analytics about how our website was used.
3. How to Request Deletion
Send an email to info@aiondata.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address, phone number, or account identifier associated with your data.
- The platform the data came from, if known (for example, our website contact form, or a Facebook or Instagram lead form).
- Whether you want all of your data deleted, or only specific records.
We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on the request. This protects you from someone else deleting your data without your permission.
4. Deleting Data Obtained via Facebook or Instagram
If you submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, or otherwise connected a Meta account to our services, you can remove our access and request deletion in two ways:
4.1 Revoke access from your Meta account
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites in your Facebook or Instagram account.
- Locate the AIONDATA application in the list.
- Select Remove to revoke its access to your account.
Revoking access stops any further data from being shared with us. It does not automatically delete data we already received, so follow the step below to have that removed.
4.2 Request deletion of data we already hold
Email info@aiondata.io using the process in Section 3. Include the name and email address you used on the Facebook or Instagram form so we can locate the matching records.
5. What Happens After You Submit a Request
- We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- We verify your identity and locate all records associated with you.
- We permanently delete the data from our production systems within 30 days of verification.
- Data in encrypted backups is removed as part of the normal backup rotation, within 90 days.
- We confirm completion by email.
6. Data We May Retain
We may need to retain a limited subset of information after a deletion request in order to:
- Comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
- Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
- Maintain a suppression record so we do not contact you again after you opted out.
Anything retained for these purposes is limited to what is strictly necessary and is deleted once the obligation no longer applies.
